“ Fun beach vibes and good food! After spending a great day on the beach and catching the bikini contest, we stopped by Buho’s Beach Bar & Restaurant for some beers and dinner. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The food was good – a bit pricey, but the service made it worth it. Just a heads-up: you’ll need cash, so be prepared. Great spot to enjoy the beach life on Isla Mujeres ”

“ This restaurant serves and maintains the umbrellas in front of the beach. Get there early if you trying to get an umbrella. There's a cost for it but I wouldn't want to be stuck in the sun on a hot day. These umbrellas provide full restaurant service and they'll take everything out to you. Place accepts cards and I highly recommend it. Also everything on the island shuts down like around 6 so after that you are left with no umbrella but at that point the sun is setting. ”
“ We stayed at The hotel that is attached to this bar/restaurant. You get a free breakfast but in my opinion, is not the greatest but it is food. The free breakfast is 2 prices of toast, coffee and orange juice. Instead of the free breakfast, I got the sandwich club without the egg and it came with fries. I can say that this sandwich combo was filling and very good. I ate it in the am and was good until the evening. This is the only thing I’ve ate here beside the free not so good breakfast. The restaurant is right on the beach under some shade so you will fill the heat from outside and sand on your feet. The staff was somewhat friendly. The food took some time to get to us but no longer that any other place we’ve eaten at. I wish I would of tried something ese but I’m a picky eater and found what I liked and stuck with it. ”

“ Great meal. Had the shrimp diablo. Sufficiently spicy. Bit weird the server asked me to pick the tip % from the bill with various percentages printed on it from 15%. ”
“ Great place to beach in this gorgeous place! We arrived around 10am and place was mostly empty. They rent out sun lounges for 450 (2 lounges 1 umbrella 2 bottles of cold water) or beds for 500. They mention you must buy food and drinks as well but no one came to force us to do it. We did however proactively order food and drinks so that’s probably why. The food was delivered straight on the beach, it was really good and abundant. Priced reasonably for the place, 2 alcoholic drinks, 2 huge burritos and an immense plate of nachos for 990 ”
“ Great food, great service, and GREAT atmosphere... what else could you ask for? A meter hundred feet from the water, Buhos offers a cool, shady respite from the Playa Norte sun. Prices are comparable to nearby options, and there is even a sandy area for little chingadores to play while you wait for your food or after taking a dip in the water. If you go there, ask for the Argentino for great service, too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUHOS ”
